On June 1st, we celebrated Iris’s 25-year anniversary at Radboudumc!
With her impact on gastro-intestinal pathology from national screening to international WHO guidelines, she continues to be a true pioneer in translating innovative research into diagnostics. We are incredibly proud to have Professor Iris Nagtegaal as the leader of our GUTS group.
We celebrated this special milestone with a few of her favourite things, including cake and… shoes! Personalised to ensure she can always represent GUTS in style, of course. A small gesture to celebrate a remarkable career.
Here’s to many more years of inspiration, collaboration and continued impact!
